JAIME & TYLER
Published | Destination I Do
You guys I am so thrilled to share some of the best news yet! Remember Jaime and Ty’s outdoor mountain wedding? All of the soft pretty pinks, gorgeous views and absolutely adorable bride and groom… well I am excited to say that Destination I Do loved it just as much as we did and today it is featured on their blog! There was so much coordination and patience to make this destination wedding happen; from picking the dress in one state to photographing their engagement in another, to friends and family chipping in wherever they were to bring to life the garden tea party reception that Jaime had been envisioning for months. I like to refer to Jaime and Tyler’s wedding, although, as more of a “homecoming wedding” than a “destination wedding” because the place where they wed marked the spot where Jaime spent her childhood, but hadn’t lived there in years since heading off to college and serving in the Middle East. As we all traveled to New Hampshire to witness the coming together of family and friends there was an unquenchable excitement that this wedding would be one that stuck with us forever.
Jaime chose a beautifully beaded Maggie Sottero champagne gown that perfectly complimented Tyler’s blue suit. The backdrop, of course, could not have been more stunning as the mountains rolled back and made way for the glistening bay below. Their al fresco reception was completed with gorgeous mix matched vintage China sets at each place setting for dinner. This detail was a complete surprise to Jaime as her Aunt made it her mission to source the China from a multitude of locations and gift it to Jaime. Blush and burgundy spray roses and carnations were placed in glass vases that sat in handmade wood boxes designed by her brother in law. Every detail had tremendous meaning and I think that is truly what made this day so special to everyone. What transcended it all was the authenticity that their relationship and approach to their wedding day illustrated to everyone about the true meaning of marriage. The raw emotion – Jaime’s giggly squeaks and smiles and Tyler’s tears as they became husband and wife was a true testament to the joy that it is to give your heart to another and promise to protect theirs and love them unconditionally in return.
There are truly not enough words to describe the profound beauty and joy that was celebrated and experienced on Jaime and Tyler’s wedding day. I had been anticipating this wedding for many months, not because of the six hour car drive that it would take to get there, but because from the moment I met these two I knew there was something special about them and that their wedding would be a magnification of all the love that I witnessed at our first meeting. Jaime and Tyler, it was an honor to witness your day and I am truly so excited to see how your marriage continues to impact the world!!
