I’m so excited to share this beautiful session I had the honor to shoot with Daniela and Anthony in Virginia! Anthony and I go back to our middle school days (specifically, the art class cycle where we met and sat next to each other making perspective drawings and wood cuts). We stayed friends through high school and college, and I was so happy for him when he told me he met this indescribably amazing girl, Daniela. Fast forward a few years of dating and they got married under the setting sun. Basically, a fairy tale, and I know Anthony wouldn’t have it any other way.

Despite many attempts to meet, (and it’s totally shameful to say) I only officially was introduced to Daniela after she married Ant! The moment I met her I knew why she was the one for him. She was stunning and had the best smile, which she wore the whole time we were together. Her joy and humor was contagious and she had the smarts to match it. I loved her too! During one of our conversations Anthony told me that he and Daniela were going to try to grow their family. I was, again, thrilled for them. And then a few months later he called me and told me it was REAL and happening! Daniela was due in August. I literally was looking forward to this session for almost a year, and I finally got to celebrate with them this past spring taking a bunch of photos at their home and local park.

Daniela and Anthony did a gender reveal and found out they were having a boy!! The first little man to carry the D’Angio name! I had so much fun hanging out with these two and making creative images in their home and at a local park. They are such naturals in front of the camera and I think we captured an array of moments that illustrate the intimacies and beauty of pregnancy as it relates to marriage, relationships and femininity. Enjoy!
