JAIME & TYLER

Married  |  Destination Wedding, Alton Bay, New Hampshire

We all may have traveled through a few states to reach New Hampshire, but Jaime and Tyler’s destination wedding had a unique twist. You see, it really wasn’t a destination wedding as much as a “homecoming” wedding. The place where they wed marked the spot where Jaime spent most of her life, but had since moved for college and to take on new adventures. We all traveled back to Alton Bay in New Hampshire to witness the coming together of family and the growing of it.

Jaime and Ty’s wedding day was truly magical, from the Maggie Sottero beaded gown that Jaime wore, to the outdoor forest ceremony and breathtaking mountain portraits and, of course, the al fresco reception with gorgeous vintage China sets at each place setting for dinner. I was so inspired by there wedding day, and as I witnessed their ceremony I was reminded of my own wedding, the feelings of joy and excitement that were pulsing through my body and the love and emotion bubbling over from all the guests supporting me.

There are truly not enough words to describe the profound beauty and joy that was celebrated and experienced on Jaime and Tyler’s wedding day. I had been anticipating this wedding for many months, not because of the six hour car drive that it would take to get there, but because from the moment I met these two I knew there was something special about them and that their wedding would be a magnification of all the love that I witnessed at their engagement session.

One of the beautiful things about Jaime and Tyler’s wedding day was that everyone wore their heart on their sleeve. Everyone’s face was filled with smiles, laughter and tears of joy – the entire day. It was contagious. Jaime got one of the best surprises when her friends from college unexpectedly made the 850 mile trip from Ohio to celebrate this special day with her.

From the day that Tyler asked Jaime to marry him she began journaling about her hopes and dreams, thoughts and feelings, and all her excitement about becoming Mrs. Kirtland. She kept all of these reflections in a intricately detailed leather bound book, which she gave to Tyler as a wedding gift that morning. His reaction to her gift was a complete humble and genuine testament to his deep love for her and the beauty of the relationship they share. I know this is just the start of many incredible things for this sweet couple.

 Enjoy!

Cheers to a fantastic creative team!
