Erin and Josh’s wedding was an absolute dream! I’m still smiling thinking about the perfect day they had from the sunny, warm weather and blooming cherry trees, to Erin’s sparkling gown, the surprise horses, and gorgeous French blue and gold details that adorned the reception space. Basically, my dream wedding…

As a kick off to the 2021 season, no one could have asked for anything better. Erin and her girls kicked the morning off at the cottage for hair and makeup, champagne in hand and ready to celebrate. The buzz of the morning was contagious and her adorable niece and nephew brought the fun to a whole other level. Everyone was awe-struck to see Erin in her breathtaking gown adorned with shimmer, floral lace appliqués and illusion bodice features. The detailing was exquisite and this dress was made for swooshing, which we had a lot of fun with during portraits.

One of my favorite parts of the day was Erin and Josh’s first look. The anticipation of this moment for both Erin and Josh was palpable and once she finally told him to turn around both of their emotions took over in the most authentic witness of joy and love. Josh’s smile could not have been bigger, and I could not stop smiling as I was watching through the lens. But this was only the first surprise.

Next, Josh and Erin were told that their dear Aunt and Uncle had made one of their wedding dreams come true – they hired the horses and equestrians to come for photos with the bride and groom! The both were overcome with surprise and could not stop laughing since they had seen the horses on the other side of the venue, but didn’t know they arrived to celebrate their wedding with them. Being a horse lover myself, this was a huge highlight for me too and it was a dream to photograph my couple with these beauties, George and Mazy!

The ceremony was equally intimate and special, officiated by their uncle and included participation of their closest friends and family members. It was a true honor to witness the profound love that Erin and Josh share and how special this day was for their family. Many happy tears were shed and traditions from the bride and groom shared. After they shared the wine cup and Josh stomped the glass, they shared their first kiss as husband and wife!

Guests enjoyed the pristine Ryland Inn Coach House reception space complete with cocktails, dancing and a delicious farm to table dinner. The bridal party kicked off the reception with a roaring amount of energy as they entered the ballroom, followed by Josh and Erin who began their first dance to Blessings by Florida Georgia Line. Erin and Josh danced with their parents to the classics My Girl and My Wish. This wedding was truly one for the books – after a long hiatus of normalcy, relaxation, joy and celebrating with family and friends, Erin and Josh’s day brought everyone together to remember that love always wins and there is much hope still to come as this new chapter of life begins. Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs.!
