MAUREEN & JOHN

Married  |  New Providence, NJ

Maureen and John had been waiting for this day for a long time. Wrapped in the warm August sun and gentle breeze, these two made vows for forever. The intimate ceremony took place in a spacious white gazebo surrounded by beautiful gardens. Both of them wore the same expression of joyfulness on their faces as they were joined husband and wife. It’s such a beautiful experience to witness when you see two people deeply in love, sharing it with the world and shining as a beacon of light that faith, hope and love triumph over all. It’s through the trials and challenges that a couple endures and the grace with which they continue to trust in God that shows the perfection of this love. Maureen and John have walked through their challenges, hand in hand, and their marriage undoubtedly stands as a beacon of light.  I am so grateful to have captured moments that offer a glimpse of this love.

We took some time to walk around the grounds at Villa Walsh in Morristown, NJ for our portrait session. It is so wonderful there! It’s definitely one of my new favorite places to shoot. The rolling hills, oak trees and stone courtyard were stunning places to stop for a few quiet moments. Then we headed to the reception for dinner and celebrating with friends and family. There were heartfelt moments during Dad’s toast for the newly married couple and their first dance, along with some epic moments gathering all of the guests in for a single group photo. It actually went way more smoothly than people might have imagined! And, of course, the party shots shot. It was an awesome time sharing the day with these two and joining two families together! Enjoy!
